The main tunnel, at the point it connects with the Plymouth Rock shaft, is 4,170 feet, while the laterals extended off total to 3,520 feet.

graphic for visual presentation of text Ore is being shipped from the Fairview property, block 102 of the Stratton Estate, to the Golden Cycle mill at Colorado City. The first shipment ran $17 per ton, the ore being obtained from the 600-ft. level of the mine. Operations are being carried on through the Chicago & Cripple Creek adit, the workings being 2,000 ft. from the entrance. Raising is in progress on the vein, which averages 4 ft. wide, and better returns are expected from the next shipment.
