Requa Savage Lessee with Ore Discovery
Announcement of an ore discovery in the Requa Sasvage property on the east slope of Beacon hill has been made. It is said that in a new part of the mine which has not been explored in some time Lessee James Bacon has discovered some values, and while there has not been a machine put to work on the prospect there is every reason to believe at this time that enough ore will be opened to permit the starting of shipments shortly.

Arequa Savage High Grade Shipments
Cripple Creek.—It was recently reported that an ore body had been opened in the Arequa Savage claim, on the eastern slope of Beacon hill and it has since developed that an important strike has been made on that property. A four-foot vein has been cut and several streaks exposed which carried high values.
It was followed and opened almost four feet wide at a point 24 feet west of the shaft and at a depth of 400 feet. Assays taken all the way across the vein show values of from $100 to $162 in gold to the ton. The high-grade mineral is being broken down and a shipment will be made at once. Several cars of ore of an ordinary grade have been sent out from this property.
The claim is being worked by Denver parties.
