Hamilton Mill
The Oxidized Ore material treated locally at present in the mill of F. R. Hamilton & Co. at Goldfield is a somewhat different material, as it is higher grade and considerable harder, than that lower grade treated in the Homestake Mill, King and Craig Mill or at various other small plants.
The Hamilton Mill crushes to 10 or 12 mesh, and finer.

Cripple Creek District Up to Date; Cyanide Mills for Low Grade
Steady progress is being made in improving the processes for treating the lower grade ores of the Cripple Creek district. During the last two months, a number of cyanide mills have been erected at different properties for the purpose of treating the oxidized ores, and these are reported to be working very satisfactorily.
The largest of these mills is the Globe at Goldfield. This plant is handling about 100 tons a day. The success of these experiments has been such that it is probable that other cyanide plants will be erected within the next two or three months.
Within the last five years the cost of treating these ores has been cut in half and the indications are that the present charges will naturally be much reduced in the near future.
