Cripple Creek—After seven years of continuous leasing on the same property, Hemby and Anderson, operating on the Ramona on the southwest slope of Bull hill, are breaking ore 25 ft. wide and to do away with the expense of timbering, are leaving occasional pillars to insure safety.

The lessees are shipping 50 tons a day to the Wild Horse mill, where good returns are obtained from the ore.
