Operation Resumed at Accident
The Accident Leasing Co., whose promoters and shareholders purchased the Morrel & Bombee lease on the Accident mine on the southwestern slope of Gold hill, at Cripple Creek, commenced hoisting ore last week and will make its initial shipment soon.
The leasing company is operating from the bottom of a winze sunk to a depth of 100 ft. below the 280-ft. level, and for the present the ore is hoisted by windlass and then trammed out to the shaft.
The management will shortly install a hoist over the winze.

ACCIDENT.—This claim on Gold Hill has been acquired on a bond and lease by W. G. Kilpatrick, the price named being reported at $50,000. The main shaft has been sunk 300 feet, from which a crosscut has been run a like distance. A winze has been sunk a distance of 100 feet, and equipped with a hoist.
