Bids Wanted for Shaft Sinking on Phoenix
Bids Wanted.
Sealed bids will be received at the office of J. H. Waters, 132 Bennett avenue, Cripple Creek, up to February 17th, to sink a shaft fifty feet on Phoenix claim located three-quarters of a mile southeast of the town of Cripple Creek.
SPECIFICATIONS.
The shaft to be four and one-half by twelve, three compartments cribbed with four by eight sawed timbers. Owners of property to furnish lumber to crib shaft and blacksmith outfit and tools, windlass and rope.
Contractor to sink shaft, and crib the same in a workmanlike manner, and to work three shifts of eight hours per day not less than four men on shift, and to furnish powder, caps, fuse and candles.
