Moon-Anchor Co. Happenings
Important development of property of the Moon-Anchor Co., consisting of the New Moon, Little Annie Rooney, Chance and portions of the Anchor and Anchor No. 2 claims on Gold hill, known as the Moon-Anchor mine, will be undertaken on company account about August 1.
For several years the mine has been operated by leasers. The directors will sink the main shaft, now down 960 ft., an additional 200 ft. and possibly deeper, and will put on a hoisting plant to lift ore 2,000 ft.

Peck and Associates Ships Through Midget From New Moon Lease
Colorado Springs, Oct. 20.—F. G. Peck and associates, who are operating under lease a block of the New Moon claim, belonging to the Moon Anchor Company, are pushing operations through the Midget shaft.
Mr. Peck is getting out a large production of two or three carloads per week, which gives returns of an ounce and a half to the ton. The ore is being broken at a depth of 200 feet, and near the Midget shaft, where the vein carries in width from two to five feet.
