Sioux Falls.—The cyanide plant on Spring Creek, operated by this company, is treating fifty tons a day, saving, it is said, 95% of the values. The ore coming from the Fluorine and Fort Wilcox claims on Copper mountain assays about $8 a ton.

Sioux Falls & Cripple Creek Mining Company.
This company is driving the Fort Wilcox tunnel into Copper Mountain, in the northern part of the Cripple Creek District, with machine drills.
It is in about 1,000 ft., and has cut the Flourine vein, where so much rich ore was taken out a few years ago. This company intends to erect a cyanide mill at the mouth of the tunnel to treat the low-grade ore exposed.

DENVER, COLO., Dec. 20, 1897—A good strike of high grade ore is reported in the "Fort Wilcox" claim adjoining the "Fluorine" to the north of the town of Cripple Creek.
It would seem as if the limits of the productive region of Cripple Creek district were surely extending.
