Lateral work has been commenced at the 1,000-ft. level of the Camilla mine on Guyot hill, formerly owned by the El Paso Extension Gold Mining Co., and active under lease to J. Morrison & Co.
Crosscuts are being carried both east and west from the shaft in expectation of cutting veins known to extend through the hill and exposed in the Doctor-Jack Pot and Work companies to the north and the Beacon hill lodes to the south.
