Gillett Cyanide Mill Becomes Jo Dandy Mill
Denver, Colorado.
graphic for visual presentation of textCompetition Between Cyanidation and Chlorination.
graphic for visual presentation of text—New Mill.
graphic for visual presentation of text With the 16% reduction in the output for 1906 for the Cripple Creek District, compared with that of 1905, has come a corresponding pressure for the reduction of treatment charges. Cyanidation has locked horns with chlorination in what promises to be a death struggle and all who are interested are anxiously awaiting the outcome.
graphic for visual presentation of text The Gillett cyanide mill has been purchased by the new management of the Jo Dandy and is being removed to that property.
graphic for visual presentation of text Altogether, it seems as though cyanidation were destined soon to triumph. Bromo-cyanidation will now have a fair chance, and it would not be strange if it were to make a better showing than it has in previous trials.
