Mountain Spring Property Will Soon Have a Plant.
Work with three shifts is being pushed on the Mountain Spring property over on Spring Creek. The vein has a very strong dip, and an incline shaft was started on it to prospect its direction and extent. At 100 feet deep it was found to be full five feet wide and assaying an average of $12.40 the entire width. The management then went 150 feet off in the direction of the dip of the vein and started a new shaft to cut the vein on its dip.
This new shaft is now nearly 100 feet deep, and has been put down this far with a windlass. In a few days, however, the Mountain Spring is to be fitted up with a new plant of steam machinery similar to that recently erected on the middle block of the Alliance Gold King, of which Mr. Kling is manager.
