The management of the Aztec Gold Mining Company, operating a group of claims on Mineral hill, are sinking their shaft to a depth of 200 feet, where it is expected a good vein of commercial rock will be encountered. They are sinking on a vein which gives values of from $6 to $25 per ton, and it is thought that with depth these values will largely increase.
