The Comanche Plume will mine in the very heart of this centre of activity. Its property is but one thousand feet from the Portland's. It is just north of the Ajax and south of the Moose, which has already produced $800,000. It will push mining operations as fast as money can do so. Cripple Creek—An electric hoist has been installed by Baker & Co., operating on the Comanche Plume on Battle mountain. A 4-ft. vein of about $20 to the ton is being worked and shipments will soon be resumed.

Work has been resumed by Fred Baker and associates, holding the lease on the Mountain Goat and other holdings of the Comanche Plume Mining Co. on the western slope of Battle mountain.

A steam-hoist has been put in at the Baker & Co. lease on the Mountain Goat claim of the Comanche Plume Gold Mining Co., and the lessees began hoisting ore last week.

Stewart McDougal, the Stella Girl, Mountain Gout, Little Edith and Magdelene lodes.

Heller and Richards, lessees of the Comanche Plume Mining Co., operating through the Bonita tunnel on the Mountain Goat and other holdings of the company on the western slope of Battle mountain, have opened up a promising ore body and have loaded out their trial shipment.

Work has been resumed on the Mountain Goat mine, on the western slope of Battle Mtn. A good vein is now exposed and shipments will probably be soon started.
