This is an old souvenir folder with hand colored pictures, dating from somewhere between the years 1902 to maybe into the 1920's. It is really hard to date the images, but for instance, the Anaconda view has to have been taken before the disastrous fire in 1904 happen, as that did wipe out most of the town for good.
The views varies from showing the trip along the Midland Terminal Railway from Colorado Springs to Cripple Creek up Ute Pass and into the Cripple Creek District, but also scenes inside the District - not at all along the M.T. tracks - are used.
I hope you enjoy these pictures, it was a joy when I got this years back, and I love that I am able to share it here for all to see/find :-)
Enjoy this little trip back to yesterday!
