<< | This is an rather old view of the town of Anaconda and the mines around it, including the Mary McKinney Mine behind that large crib wall at right center. This view was taken sometime before October 1904 as by November this scene changed dramatically as most of the town was wiped out in a massive fire. Only parts around the railroads and up the gulch, from about middle left and up was saved. The town was never rebuilt. | >> |
