The folder is in mostly good shape, but have two panels separated from the others, and the rest has tape to hold them together for the most part. It is an old souvenir folder with B&W pictures from somewhere between, oh, I would guess 1904 to 1915.
Back panel has it marked "The Smith-Brooks Press Denver" which I assume is the printing place. The text part mention F.C. Matthews as the General Passenger Agent, in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Counting the Front and Back panels there are 8 images included, 2 is of the artistic type showing exaggerated scenes at Point Sublime and Rock Creek. It also has 2 views from the District it self with 1 being of Anaconda before the fire of 1904, and 1 dark sun type of scene from Gold Hill - only really showing the sky. Rest is standard scenes along the Short Line
Folder is as all similar really about the trip along The Short Line (Colorado Springs & Cripple Creek District Railway, C.S. & C.C.D. Ry.)
Enjoy this little trip back to yesterday!
