This view show how close several mines on Beacon Hill once was to each other. About upper middle of the image is the El Paso Mine, just below it to the left is the C.K. & N. Mine, and below that again, near bottom of the valley is located the Henry Adney Mine and the Old Gold Mine, all which at a time was connected to the F. & C.C. through a series of switchbacks down the hill. The high smokestack way at the bottom right I believe is part of the Lonaconing Mine.
