This overview taken from near the Short Line loop in Goldfield shows the massive Independence Mill and Mine complex quite well. The mine being up the hill at right and the mill stretching down in large sized buildings holding all kind of machinery to better process the ore and extract the valuables.

In the foreground is first a road up towards Goldfield from victor, then the tracks of the High Line/Short Line and then the Golden Circle trackage, which also serve the mill I suppose.
