This impressive view here really shows of the cramped condition where the train battles for space with the dumps of the mines.
The two mines up on the top is the Lillie Shaft house at right, later used as a experimental mill for the Vindicator, and the ore house and shaft house of the Vindicator mine at its left side.
Down the hill you have a M.T. train passing by the Independence Depot en-route to Cripple Creek, probably to back down the switchback to Victor first being it is a Passenger Train before reaching Cripple Creek later that day.
