The folder is in good shape, no loose parts, no missing bits or anything like that, some wrinkles but it is old so that is expected. This is an old souvenir folder with hand colored pictures dating from I would guess, 1900 to maybe as old as 1915.
It's mainly about a trip along the Colorado Springs & Cripple Creek District Railway, C.S. & C.C.D. Ry. - or better known as just The Short Line. But, it also includes many scenes from inside the Cripple Creek District. Most of those views are views that could be seen more or less aboard a Short Line train or the Trolley ride in the District.
You get to see fantastic views if you look beyond the fact this is early coloring and printed views whose quality is not up to the standards we are used with today, and views we never will ever experience again, especially inside the Cripple Creek District!
I hope you enjoy these pictures, it was a joy when I got this years back, and I love that I am able to share it here for all to see/find :-)
Enjoy this little trip back to yesterday!
