Friday Leasing Co. Hard at Work
The Friday Leasing Co., operating on the Friday claim of the White City Gold Mining Co., on Tenderfoot hill, is doing an immense amount of development work on the first or 80-ft. level in a new shaft which has been sunk during the past six months. Cross-cuts have been extended to the north side-line and another is now being run east from the shaft. Several veins have been cut recently and development work is in progress the greater portion of the time.
The veins show low-grade ore and no attempt is as yet being made to ship any of it. The ore is being blocked out, and it is the intention of the management of the leasing company eventually to erect a large cyanide mill, which may be started toward the latter part of the present year.
The Friday Leasing Co., which is composed chiefly of Denver men, has a bond on the property in the sum of $200,000, with a long-time lease.
