Claim Plat map shares area with several other claims, and is even worse of on the Amended map, most in the east and north east part of the claim. The Discovery Shaft is about middle of the claim, with a second Shaft quite some distance further west. Nothing more in shown.
In June 1900 it was written in Hills Manual that Anchoria-Leland Mining and Milling Co. owns Chance lode—7901, patented. Claim holds the surface improvements which consist of shaft house, machinery, assay building and office building; boiler house and water tank. Machinery comprises two 100-horsepower boilers, one eight-drill air compressor, one four-drill air compressor, and hoist good for 1,000-foot shaft, where it was 950 feet deep and had over 6,000 feet in drifts. Part of Chance are leased.
