Active development work is progressing on the property of the Michorado Gold Mining Co. on Iron Clad hill. On the Seven-Thirty claim, adjoining the Forest Queen, a contract has been let for the sinking of the shaft to the 250-ft. level.

Curtis J. Smith, president and general manager of the Michorado Gold Mining Co., owning the Seven-Thirty claim, has leased for a long term the Waterloo claim, adjoining on Ironclad hill, owned by the Blue Diamond Mines Co. A deep shaft is being sunk near the dividing line between the two properties, and both will be developed therefrom.
