Damon Workings Those who are interested in Damon stock will be glad to learn that a receiver's receipt has just been obtained for the well known Diamond claim belonging to that company, the property, on which good values have been found.
Steps are being taken to clear up the other parts of the property at the earliest possible date. There is still a little litigation involving a small part of the ends of two claims, but it is not of a serious nature and will probably be settled at an early date and in a satisfactory manner.
It is the intention of the Damon people to get their property patented and out of the way of any possible litigation as soon as possible and there will probably be no difficulty as the only conflict of any kind is in the small portion previously mentioned.

The entire deposit is of shipping grade, and assays from 1 oz. to 7 ozs. gold per ton.
