Info Title:
Little Bessie in New and Important Ore Discovery at 5th Level
In the Little Bessie claim of the Henry Adney estate on the west slope of Beacon hill a new and important ore discovery has been made on the fifth level of the main shaft, in a drift run to the easterly and northerly direction between the Henry Adney and the Maid of Orleans shafts.
graphic for visual presentation of text It is at a point about 600 feet from the main shaft. The ore, as it is mined, will ship at about six ounces to the ton, it is said. Besides that bulk ore some extra fine stuff was stripped from the streak. This makes the third important ore body to be opened by the Henry Adney Co. There are two good shoots now being mined and from these last month eight were billed out.
