Denver, Colo.—During January three new strikes were made in the Elkton property, in blocks 7, 8, and 13, at different depths. The company is working 100 men.
The Hayden lease on the Gregory claim of the Elkton has cleaned up about $300,000 in the last six months. The royalties paid from this lease have furnished sufficient funds to pay for the large amount of development work performed by the company in the main workings of the Elkton proper.

Gregory Lost Ore Shoot Found by Lessee
Elkton.—The ore shoot which was lost in the flat vein of the Gregory third level of this property some years ago has been recovered by Lessee Chris Eby, who has shipped nine carloads of ore, said to average $40 to the ton, since the shoot was found.
The shoot was lost north of the shaft. Lessee Eby, while following a small seam south of the shaft, broke into the shoot at a point fifty feet above the third level, the ore body varying from five to six feet across.
He expects to ship fifteen carloads a month regularly.
