The Moose mine, on the southeastern slope of Raven hill, one of the first producers of smelting grade ore in this district, has been restored to the shipping list by the present lessees, Russell, Roeloff and Wright.

Cripple Creek—Work has been commenced on the Moose mine of the Moose Gold Mining company on Raven hill by Carpenter and associates of this place, under a 30-days prospecting permit, with option of two-years' lease.

The mine, which has been inactive for three years, has produced more thatthan $500,000, and the shareholders have received $145,000 in dividends.
