Lessees Working the Ben Harrison Tunnel Reports Encounter with Gold Sovereign Dike
United Gold Mines Company.—Lessees Kelso & Henby, who are working three blocks of this company’s property on the west slope of Bull Hill, through the Ben Harrison tunnel, are reported to have encountered the extension of the large ore-bearing dike of the Gold Sovereign.
The ore body has been crosscut a distance of twenty feet without encountering the opposite wall. The point where the ore was cut is about 500 feet from the Gold Sovereign Company’s line. On the latter property the dike measures forty feet across.

Trilby & Ben Harrison Lode Claims Changed Owners
Denver.—The Trilby and Ben Harrison lode claims, on Bull Hill, owned by the Moose Gold Mining company, have been transferred to L. F. Mearkle, P. Montgomery and J. C. Corning of Pennsylvania by J. B. Glasser, vice-president of the Moose company.
The new owners will at once put the property in shape and begin extensive and active operations. One of the plans to be carried out is the erecting of a new and up-to-date 100-ton daily capacity cyanide mill on the south end of the Trilby claim, to treat the large quantity of low-grade ore which is known to exist in the mine.
