FORTY OUNCE ORE.
In the drift at the 50 foot level of the Clark and Rhodien on the Dillon mine on Battle mountain, the junction of the two veins was encountered revealing six inches of forty ounce ore, twelve inches of five ounce ore and about a foot of ore that is good for an ounce.
The last of the week a twenty ton shipment will be marketed.

Denver, Dec. 8—The Dillon Gold Mining Co. has just paid another 1c. dividend, making a total disbursement of nearly $32,000 for that purpose during the year.
Their main source of revenue is from the Price & Waters lease. These lessees have lately been shipping a large amount of ore, averaging about 3 oz. gold per ton.
