Coriolanus Gold Mining Co. Inquiry
Coriolanus Gold Mining Co.
5337. (Brooklyn, N. Y.) Kindly inform me through your valuable columns, as to the desirability of the Coriolanus Gold Mining Company's stock as a mining investment. Particulars regarding location, management, etc., will be appreciated. The mine is located at Cripple Creek.
Ans.: This company was incorporated January 28, 1898, and reorganized in March last. It is capitalized at 1,500,000 shares of the par value of $1. The company owns the Coriolanus claim (patented) comprising ten and one-third acres on Bull HillBattle Mountain.
There has been $75,000 worth of ore taken out of the property, of which $12,000 was taken out last year. The past output placed the property in the "Mines" list instead of in the "Prospects" list. The company now has $35,000 in the treasury and no debts.
The main shaft is now 350 feet deep and an agreement was recently entered into with the United Mines Transportation Co., permitting the latter company to drive its tunnel through the ground of the Coriolanus at a depth of 700 feet below the surface, which will admit of operations from the tunnel.
The prospects of the property as a future ore producer are good; the management is experienced and conservative. The stock was floated some months ago at 20 cents and is now quoted at between 20 cents and 21 cents.

Coriolanus Bonanza Findings
Colorado Springs., Colo., March 10.—The recent find made on the south end of the Coriolanus property is proving to be a bonanza, the values running up into the pictures. While Mr. T. P. Burbridge, largest owner of this property, refuses to discuss the facts of this new find, yet it is known that the values are running high grade.
In former days the same ore shoot proved very productive always yielding phenomenal values.
