A NEW COMPANY.
The Nellie V Gold Mining company was incorporated yesterday by J. R. McKinney, N. S. Gandy, E. M. De La Vergne, L. R. Erich and W. H. Alten. The capitalization is 1,500,000 shares of which there is left in the treasury 400,000 shares.
The company owns the War Eagle and Nellie V claims on Squaw mountain some 700 feet north of the Gold Coin mine.
The Nellie V is supposed to be a very valuable claim. It produced $85,000 worth of ore several years ago and a lease on it now is showing up handsomely.

Nellie V. Lessee Ships From Rich Vein
GEORGE BODFISH WORKING A REMARKABLY RICH VEIN ON THE NELLIE V.

BIG CHUTE EXPECTED WITH DEPTH.

VERY RICH STREAK.
—————————
Sensational Strike May Be Expected With Depth.
Figures from the last shipment of George Bodfish's lease on the Nellie V. on Squaw mountain, indicate no falling off in values. The shipment consisted of only two tons, and the returns were on a basis of $376 per ton.
Bodfish is now drifting south on the vein at a depth of 250 feet. The streak of pay ore is very narrow, varying in width from one to three inches.
Preparations are under way to sink the shaft another 100 feet, and at that depth it is fully expected the ore chute will be opened to an extent which will surprise even those who now pin their faith to Squaw mountain.
