Squaw Mountain Tunnel Prospecting Made Important Discovery
Squaw mountain, in the eastern end of this district, south of Victor, is the scene of an important discovery made by Clint Duffield and the Finley brothers of Cripple Creek, lessees, operating on the May B. and Guess claims, owned, respectively, by the United Gold Mines Co. and the Petrel Gold Mining and Milling Co.
Prospecting by cross cut from the Squaw Mountain tunnel level, a porphyry dyke, carrying ore, has been encountered , running at right angles to the May B. vein.
