General notes:
In June 1900 it was written in Hill's Manual that there was one Pump Station on this claim, with a pump of 300 gallons capacity, a boiler, and a 55,000-gallon reservoir and two 60,000-gallon reservoirs, used for fire purposes as well. -> But an official Portland Map from 1903 states this that first to be a 50,000-gallon water-tank, located about halfway between shaft 2 and 1. Same map has two water-tanks at shaft 1, no size given, but possible connected and being those two other tanks mentioned. Up near summit there are also two water-tanks, stated to be 55,000-gallons each, but they seems not connected with the 4-inch pipe-line from the King Solomons.
