Thanks to the result of the suit jointly entered by sixty-one mining companies operating in the Cripple Creek District, proving mining property in Teller County is over-assessed, a reduction in assessment was adjudicated for the Gold and Globe Mill. The Assessor's Valuation was $ 6,070.00 with a Reduction Granted to $ 4,300.00, giving an Amount of Tax Saved of $ 159.53.
