It is reported on good authority that recent development in the 1500 foot level of the American Eagle has resulted in the opening of about two feet of ore that will ship better than $90 a ton.

Development of the new ore shoot opened at the 1400 foot level in Stratton's American Eagle on Bull Hill shows that it is a large occurrence carrying high average values.

The strike is important on account of the great depth at which the ore occurs and indicates fairly that pay rock will probably be found in other mines in that section of Bull Hill when exploratory work shall be carried forward to the depth mentioned.

On the eleventh level of the American Eagles on Bull hill a new ore shoot has been uncovered from which a production of 3 or 4 cars a week of 2-oz. ore is being made by Sub-lessee Anett and associates. In a raise off the eleventh level in the Eagles vein a sand porphyry was opened which contained good values. It is 4 ft. wide and the whole shoot is ore, not requiring sorting to make it marketable at 2 ozs. and better.
