graphic for visual presentation of text Map is boring. The Discovery Shaft is located almost at the south border, but the strange part is that on the Amended map there are no shaft drawn there, only a Tunnel going for some length in northerly direction, about perfect lines up with a line coming from the discovery shaft of the Blue Bell lode. The portal for that tunnel appears to be just west of the location of the discovery shaft on the original map, but why that is no longer drawn, I have no idea, it is the first map I seen where there are no discovery point, cut, shaft marked at all.
graphic for visual presentation of text Some years later a small part of the northwest corner area would in the year 1900 be seeing the grade of the Low Line Electric and the Short Line Steam Train crossing it when I compare this map to my 1902 claims overview map where I have railroads drawn in.
