Sub-Lessees Made Rich Strike at 800 Feet
Harry Luce and Jack Walsh, operating a sub-lease on Bull hill, have made a rich strike at the 800-ft. level of the American Eagles shaft. Prospecting at the depth on the Hidden Treasure claim, the lessees entered an ore body 4 ft. wide, all of which will pay and 2 ft. of which will return about $100 to the ton.
