General notes:
Very hard to find much info about this mill, but a 1896 map from a booklet called "The Quarterly Sentinel vol 1" gave the location to be where Arequa Gulch meets the Cripple creek.
A 1894 book called "The Story of Cripple Creek up to date" says that M. Crawford, the inventor of the Crawford mill, has a 20-ton mill for cyanide-electro-amalgamation treatment near Cripple Creek - claiming that excellent results will shortly be shown...
18 May 1895 in Enginnering & Mining Journal there is many mills mention, including one called Pioneer, aka old Daniel mill, erected in November 1891 as a stamp mill, then sold in January 1894 to a Colorado Springs company who worked/attempted to work the Crawford mill & process for 4 months, which now has once more been sold and converted back into a stamp mill with 10 stamps only. Could be the same mill?
A table over mills in the area in a July 1895 newspaper say this is a electro cyanide process mill.
