      The Great Western lode might possible be a typing error for the Great West lode, as when looking at my 1900 Manual Book, the company name of the Bull Hill Gold Mining and Tunnel Company is still listed, and I found the claims they own on North slope of Big Bull Mtn., except there are no listing of a Great Western lode, but, there is one of a Great West lode.
      graphic for visual presentation of text That made me think straight away the possibility of the Morning Times info has a typing error... Especially as I find no Great Western nearby at all. But, what is true is fully impossible to know at this time, sadly! :-(
