General notes:
Per Morning Times Oct. 9, 1898 there is a Porcupine shaft on the Pike's Peak, made famous some two years back by a Lessee Osborn. Also info in the 1900 Manual says there are 2 shafts on the Pike's Peak claim, one on the east and one on the west end - both being having a 25 H.P. plant. This shaft is in the 1900 Manual listed to be 300 feet.
