General notes:
This is a great Plat Map in many ways, but combined with other neighboring maps it would be a real cool map as it shows part of what I think was Barry in the old days before Anaconda came to life as a town. Sadly it don't show the railroad grades of the F. & C.C or the M.T, but due to it showing so many structures in form of Houses and such I am not complaining. It also has Squaw Gulch marked out as a blue line, including a side gulch heading north, same gulch as the famous F. & C.C wreck on the return trip towards Florence on its first passenger train run..

The Discovery Shaft is about 1/3 south of the north border, which would make it below the F. & C.C. judging from my 1902 claims overview map with railroads drawn in. There is a second Shaft just northeast of it, and on the Amended map there has also been dug a Tunnel northeast of the discovery shaft, into the ground of the Lincoln claim.

Southeast of the discovery claim a third Shaft is seen, with a fourth Shaft further south before several houses show up. On the Amended map this fourth shaft has a fifth Shaft as a neighbor, not sure why as they are really close to each other. There are marked out five houses before a Road curves through the claim, the Squaw Gulch is marked out before a new row of houses is marked out, smaller ones, I count nine of them, some close, some spread out.

South of the houses there is a Tunnel marked out in southeasterly direction, and it seems to have grown a little by the time the Amended map was made. Which concludes the textual description of the claim map. :-)
