Katinka.—This group of claims, on Ingot HillGuyot Hill, under lease and bond to Boston people, under the superintendence of Mr. De Vore, has been actively worked.

The surface looks as if "nature suffered from smallpox," and the work is still prosecuted by 16 men. Two shafts have been sunk, but not much values have been found.
