The Plat Map is one of the WOW maps, as it shows a long forgotten drawing of how things looked way back in time, in this case you see of course a creek being a placer, namely the Wilson creek, a road south of it, a Placer working markings and a ditch along the creek.
But, you also see a large structure footprint, clearly marked as a mill - and that is the cool part, it has to be the early Lawrence Stamp mill shown, how cool is not that? ;-)
The lower size acreage is from the 1904 Annual Report by the United Mines Company, as the Plat Map had a larger size given.
