      General notes:
The Plat Map is interesting only as it shows how little of a claim can be left when interaction with other claims. Also, it was quite nice that this map did shoe a quite a long length of the M.T. roadbed where it crosses several claims; Guess, May B., Greenwood, Lofty and Santa Rita, where it ends on this drawing. In addition it also show some of the F. & C.C. roadbed, not as much as hoped for though, but I see it on the Lofty claim and partly on the Petrel lode. May not be as accurate as wished for, hoped for, it still is a nice helpful way to navigate a bit.
graphic for visual presentation of text Other than that, as mentioned, not much was left of this claim, there is a small tract in north end, between Clemma E., Guess and May Brewin, which are holding two shafts, one being the Discovery Shaft. The tract fits into a hole seen on the Clemma E. Amended plat map. While the Clemma E. Plat Map puts the roadbed of the F. & C. C. right in front of the Discovery Shaft shown on the claim map of the Dorothy lode, this do not fit the tracks shown on the 1903ish topomap, as there they are further west. Beside there are no shafts marked on that map that fits the shafts shown, so I doubt that there would been much to see of this from the train up hill.
graphic for visual presentation of text Also, there is drawn in a tunnel up on what this Plat Map shows as the Northeastern lode, going into the Clemma E. lode towards the Cuckoo lode with a small crosscut in southern direction at the end of the tunnel. The bearing line to this tunnel portal is within a few feet from the same marked out on the Clemma E. Plat Map. This tunnel is the west end location of the Columbine-Victor Tunnel.
