      General notes:
Date of Relocation used as Original Location Date as that is all infi I have from the First Plat Map.
graphic for visual presentation of text The Plat Map is interesting as not only does it fully cover up the Providence lode, on the original Plat Map, not on the Amended Plat Map as there it only runs in the middle 50 feet of the 300 feet wide claim But, the claim lines shares same borders and all as the Providence lode do, except the discovery shaft is different. On the original Plat Map there is one extra structure shown way down S.W. where the Mazeppa lode is drawn in, that structure and claim is not drawn in on the Providence map.
graphic for visual presentation of text Why the Amended claim ended up as strip down the middle of the old claim I do not know, it might be an indication that when James Doyle and Woods Investment Company bought the Providence lode for 1/2 interest each, they dived the ground up like the Amended Plat shows - but no certain info found to support that idea as of early July 2012.
