graphic for visual presentation of text The Uncle Sam claim of the Blanche company will commence to-morrow to ship daily ore valued at $1,000.
graphic for visual presentation of text Such will be the shipment from a property that was only taken hold of thirty days ago by a company headed by A. E. Carlton, who bought the Uncle Sam claim on the north slope of Bull hill. The stock was listed at 10 cents a share and almost immediately rose to the price of 15 cents.
graphic for visual presentation of text A few days ago the biggest strike made recently was encountered in the Blanche property. The vein opened up was all of thirteen feet in width and the assays clear across ran about three ounces of gold to the ton.
graphic for visual presentation of text The ore was encountered at a depth of 54 feet and all of it is being raised by a windlass. Only $500 has been invested in surface improvements and greater returns cannot be shown in the district.
graphic for visual presentation of text A contract was let yesterday to sink the shaft 300 feet and a steam hoist has been ordered, together with air drills and within a few weeks the property will be in good working order.

Shipments have been resumed from the Blanche Gold Mining Co.'s Uncle Sam fractional claim containing about 2½ acres, adjoining the Acacia company's Morning Star mine.
