Vindicator Test Mill Shows Cyanide Works Well
Cripple Creek District.—Tests now being made in the Vindicator mill at the Lillie for the Findley and Vindicator indicates that it will pay every mine to have its own reduction plant. The test mill in question has the Edwards roasting furnace which can handle any sort of Cripple Creek rock at 30 cents a ton. It is said a 97 per cent extraction is secured.

Vindicator Cyanide Mill at Old Lily Mine
Denver.—J. B. Shipman, formerly manager of Stratton's Independence, on Battle mountain, will at once begin active work on the construction of a cyanide mill on the ground of the Lily mine of the Vindicator Consolidated company on Bull hill, near Independence.
The contract for the building of the machinery has been let to a Denver firm and the old Lily shafthouse will be used for the mill building. When the plant is completed, the ore on the Lily and Vindicator dumps will be treated and low-grade ore in the Vindicator mine will also be handled.
It is understood that the plant will be in operation by January 1 and will have a capacity of 100 tons a day.
