graphic for visual presentation of text Several days ago these lessees opened up an ore body of low grade, which gave returns of from $5 to $12 in gold to the ton. It is said that these lessees have encountered a vein one and one-half feet wide which carries five-ounce values. The lessees are shipping their low grade to a cyanide mill for treatment.

Info Title:
Climax Worked Under Lease
The Climax is being worked under lease. The vein in this mine has been pockety thus far, but quite rich. It seems to be getting more regular in value with depth and the output which has been about seven tons a week of three to four ounce ore, will now be doubled. Londonderry Gold Mining Company owns this claim.

Info Title:
Climax in Great Ore
IRONCLAD BONANZAS
graphic for visual presentation of text—————————
graphic for visual presentation of textThe Climax in Great Ore.
graphic for visual presentation of text—————————
graphic for visual presentation of text Ironclad hill is fast making a reputation as a producer of bonanzas. The last to lay claim to the distinction of a mine is the Climax, owned by Messrs Houlahan, McCoy and Cody and located near the Ironclad and Londonderry.
graphic for visual presentation of text Ore has been shipped from the property for several weeks, but the fact has been kept quiet. One carload of high grade ore was shipped to Denver averaging over twelve ounces to the ton and three cars were sent to the cyanide mill that ran nearly $40 to the ton.
graphic for visual presentation of text Work has been going on on the property for three years past, during which the owners have met with many difficulties and discouragements. The formation was broken up and the ore pockety, but perseverance was at last rewarded after a long search and running several hundred feet in drifts and crosscuts.
graphic for visual presentation of text A permanent ore chute now seems to have been entered and the Climax takes place among the regular shippers. It is located near the Oro; the Hardwood and Maud S. of the Damon company are in close proximity and the Bonanza Queen, recently purchased by W. S. Alexander and others, is in the same locality.
