Exposition Mining and Leasing Co. Strike at 120 Feet in Midway Mine
Colorado Springs, Nov. 16.—The Exposition Mines and Leasing Company, composed of St. Louis and local mine operators, working three successful leases on the Midway, Gold Sovereign and Burns, of the Acacia Company, has made a strike within the last 24 hours on the Midway claim on Bull Hill.
At a depth of 120 feet a 12-inch streak of $40 ore has been encountered. The proximity of this property to the Wild Horse and Damon properties leads to the belief that the ore shoot may be a permanent one.
