graphic for visual presentation of text The Lexington Gold Mining company is pushing work on its various properties in the camp. The Jeff Davis and Jeff Davis No. 2, are being vigorously worked under lease by Michael Gilmore and others. The Clara D., on Gold hill is being worked by two sets of lessees and a strong vein has been opened. The company has secured a two years lease on the Robert E. Lee and have just let a contract from cross-cutting the lode the entire width of the claim from west to east. In a day or two the Lexington company will start a drift in the Chance which they have now under lease from the Anchoria-Leland company. The drift will be run from the 200-foot level to the south side line of the Chance. Altogether the company now has twenty-five men employed. No stock is being offered on the market at present.
